mmm...beer

I just finished making a yeast starter for an extra pale ale batch that I'm going to brew tomorrow. As I sit here, I'm enjoying one of my latest batches, an Irish Red Ale. I hope everyone's having a good weekend.

Today we moved Mandy's grandparents to some senior apartments. They're both in their late 70's. Mandy has a lot of family in the Twin Cities so we had plenty of help. They both seemed pretty excited about their new place.

Just a little update

Just thought I would give you all a little update on Nathan since most of you probably haven't heard from him in a long time. For those of you who don't know, Nathan and Katie are now engaged and have been for about 2 months. They are planning on getting married August 12, 2006 in Stevens Point, so mark your calendars. Nathan and Katie just moved down to Delavan, WI this past weekend. Delavan is a small town by Lake Geneva, which is in southern Wisconsin. It seems like a really nice town and their apartment is really nice. Nathan is working at a Home Depot in Makwanago (sp?). He called today and said that he will usually be working noon-9pm. Katie is will be starting her job as a teacher in the Lake Geneva elementary school working teaching English as a Second Language. Hopefully this first year goes well for her. So that you guys can all update your address books, Nathan's address is: 213 Turtle Creek Dr. Apt. 8 Delavan, WI 53115. My address for the school year will be: 52 W. 7th St Winona, MN 55987.
