Minnesota State Fair

Meet Corn Dog Amelie! Straight of the Minnesota State Fair's website. (is this a corn dog or a pronto pup?)
Nancy and I are thinking about going for a weekend but were not sure yet. Nancy has not been there and I have only been there once. As I remember, most food was on a stick...(see attached pic).
What was your favorite food on a stick?
Can you do the fair in a day or do you need more time?
Any input would be help us make our decision.

I think you can definitely do the fair in a day, but that's coming from someone who goes almost every year. If you haven't been in a long time (or at all), go early in the morning so you can make sure to have enough time to see everything.

I like the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, the french fries, the gyros, the cheese curds, the nitro ice cream....I guess I like a lot of stuff!

I also think one day is enough. You don't need to see *everything*

I'm thinking about making a trip to the State Fair as well. It's been quite a few years since I've gone. Does anyone know the dates that the state fair runs?

The fair runs from Thursday, August 24th through Labor Day, September 4th.

I enjoy going to the State Fair, too, & haven't been for about 5 years now. It really is a lot of fun...the fresh squeezed lemonade is tops with me!

Ryan and I vote for the corn on the cob....it is the very best. We are excited that little Kane can partake in our eating festivities this year~~ Last year, he had his first sip on fresh lemonade~~
